after nuffnang friso family day out event, we immediately headed to the new wing to meet up another friend yang asalnya kami kenal thru susuibu.com. she helped me selling idris's first stroller yang tak sempat guna in march 2009.

susuibu forumer memang kenal yatie who is quite active with susuibu gathering. macam akak ni...setakat join jadik pembaca je. kalau ada nak tanya soklan ke apa ke i wud prefer to ask the person directly thru email.

lepas lama dah dok berkenalan dgn yatie ni, we found out that her husband is a full time insurance agent. since idris and awop still tak de insuran lagi, we decided to get it from her husband. so meeting last saturday tu basically ikram nak kasik our pilicy and to explain on the plan we have chosen. lama dah plan nak jumpa but only this time around our plan menjadi.

nak cite detail pasal prudential plan rasanya lain kali lah. tapi sesapa rasa nak ambik insurance, i wud recommend ikram ni. service pun bagus. (yatie... dah kipas ni sila kasik free satu CD - hehehe)

.new year new look @ munawwarah lounge.

welcoming new year by having myself caught in the sea of people on new year's eve just to feel the heat of new year countdown is no longer in my tentative since 2006. not that i am anti-social or less fun in that sense but watching telly with your loved one or sleep early for a better start tomorrow is more make sense to me.

this year, on 01.01.10 i woke up early and manage to prepare nasi goreng tomyam for breakfast and fed idris before i made myself available for an event organized by sri munawwarah boutique.

the ticket was booked by my SIL a week before the event and i was actually in 50-50 to attend it because i wasn't confident to leave idris with his father for 3 hours. tapi sebab fikir mama and adik were around, i left idris in such a hurry and drove fast and furious all the way to taman tun sampai terlupa nak bawak kamera.

the theme for the fashion show was "new year, new look" specially catered for ladies who wear hijab. kami jugak dijamukan dengan makanan yang sedap2 on that day and we were given a discount voucher for clothes at SM. however, i wasn't that lucky bila masuk part lucky draw. mungkin kurang keberkatan kot sebab awop macam tak berapa nak lepas aku pi event ni. huhuhu...

since aku tak bawak kamera pi sana, terpaksalah bergantung harapan pada kamera-kamera yang bukan milik ku. this one is the group photo taken from haslina ali's FB. ini group on friday. there's another group on saturday. the organizer terpaksa pecah kan kepada dua sebab participant is more than 50 and the lounge tak muat nak isi banyak-banyak.

kalau boleh spot me in - don't u think i'm getting skinner? ye lah, ye lah... statement perasan.! hehehe... tapi bila dilihat gambar kat bawah ni... i think my bottom part need some trimmingla.

seronok jugak attending this event as i get to learn how to mix and match as well as how to wear SM tudung in many ways. i think i need to register myself on their tudung workshop kalau sapa nak join bagitau so i can arrange the class in small group. five pax per session.

the event was held on january 2,2010 at kidzsport & gym which i think managed to keep more than 50 families together. the event tentatively started at 10am but we were only managed to be there at around 12.30pm as i had to make a pit stop at sri munawwarah to change the tudung i bought a day before.

during registeration, i was informed by the girls at the counter that my entry has been shortlisted as one of the finalist and we were asked to stick around until 2pm. masa tu terpikir... apalah yang best sangat entry aku tu sampai masuk dalam category finalist. hehehe...

lepas selesai pakai socks and parked idris' little car, we heard the mc requesting all parents and kids to have lunch. they provided spaghetti, bread and cake for the kids, nasi and lauk pauk plus mee hoon for parents. afif (my nephew) who has forced himself to walked from new wing to old wing was delighted to see the spaghetti on the table as he told me he was very-very hungry sebab letih jalan jauh. :P


my eyes were wild screening everyone around me and my mind was busy trying to recall the names of familiar faces. i remember seeing farah, e-car, red mummy, ros, iza, munirah, juan and many more but i was so segan (as in malu tau bukan malas) to tegur all of them as this is my first blogger get together. i wasn't sure how to start and have promised myself to be more ringan mulut the next time i attend this type of event.

beside keeping an eye on idris dan afif playing and exploring that place, we get to watch magic show. mula-mula dok kat belakang je, but when my nephew voluntereed himself to dance with hafiz the magician, i went to sit in front to capture picture of him dancing and being fooled tricked by the magician.

man it was so hilarious!

around 2pm, it was time to announce the winner of the nuffnang friso gold family out. the 10 blog entries with the most effort won Rm100 toys r' us voucher and i am one of the lucky 10! other bloggers i can recall getting the RM100 voucher are juan, sawanila, sumijelly, munirah and kambing bujang.

thank you nuffnang and friso gold! we can use this voucher to get idris a toy for his upcoming birthday. sukenye... yippie!!!

we also received a goodie bag contains of friso gold products and some stationary stuffs at the end of the event. overall, i can say this is such a successful event and i'll probably come back to this place to let my son explore everything in there!

blogspot somehow is giving me headache since yesterday when there are few features are disable for no apparent reason. i have few entries waiting to be published but all pending because the edit button and what not are malfunction!
