Those people whose have seen me in my heaviest weight would notice how slim i am now. And they will definitely ask me my secret to become this slim. My one and only answer is - HERBALIFE
I have made my decision to start on HERBALIFE regime early Ramadhan last year when my weight was stubbornly unmoved at 60kg. That time i was still fully breastfeed my son, continuosly going to slimming centre once a week and controlled my carbo daily intake (but never did any exercise... haish!) but those efforts didn't seem to work on me anymore.
The first month i took it was some kind of unsuccessful story. it didn't work out at all. my body simply refused to 'LIKE' herbalife shake as i get dizzy and stomach unesy after i consumed it for my sahur. i even gelt nausea the whole day like there was a lot of gas or angin trapped in my body. so i figured, let skip it and try it after raya. i only take its tea mix during month of ramadan which actually helped me a lot to sustain my energy and freshness during day and night.
After the month of food and eating festival (with lots of open house, rendang, lemang and what not), i made another attempt with HERBALIFE shake. i became very excited to continue the regime because every time i weighed myself, my metabolism age was reducing (makin muda) and my actual weight too has shown a very good progress. It’s not being stagnant like before and that is so inspiring.
From that experience, i would like to share some tips and trick for HERBALIFE beginner purely based from my experience and solely based from my point of view. anyone who read this piece of crappy tips are most welcome to add on or correct some facts that might have scientific explanation from what I gather here.
Never start the regime on fasting month kalau start ambil bulan puasa like what i did, you probably hate HERBALIFE for LIFE because it is so hard to adjust your tekak and perut with this nutritious meal.
Blend your shake drink using blender with little bit of ice so the taste of shake drink isn't too concentrated leaving a funny feeling kat tekak kita. Once our tekak have adjusted to the taste of shake drink then boleh la shake pakai tangan je
Set your goal right - Ask yourself you wanna get to your ideal weight faster or moderately. n. if your goal is to lose a lot of kgs in a month, drink shake twice a day preferably breakfast and dinner in order to replace heavy meals yang kalorinya susah nak dibuang. but if you wanna take it slow by losing your fat bit by bit, then your coach will teach you how. in my case, i have chosen the latter one. in any weight management programme, only we can decide what we want. macam i, i tak nak kurus mendadak. beside getting slim and proportionate, i also want to be and feel healthy. so i take this regime moderately to cultivate a good eating habit. alhamdulillah, though i only consume my shake drink once a day during breakfast, i have lost more than 5 kgs after 4 months consuming it. eventhough my weight reduction doesn't show a rapid progress, i lost a lot of inches all over my body and can fit almost all clothes before i was pregnant. that is more than enough.
Know your pocket. HERBALIFE isn't cheap. i think everyone knows this. Thus in order to make it ‘within your means’, always ask your HL coach on any package they can work out for you based on your monthly budget. ada orang, nak spend banyak skali gus so they can go on for maintenance program which is cheaper. Maknanya, mula-mula je spend banyak-banyak, dan bila dah capai your dream and ideal weight, you will then be consulted to maintenance program yang jauh lebih murah. Dan macam saya, saya tak mampu nak spend RM500-800 a month for twice shake intake a day. I then chose yang once a day that cost less than RM400 (ini member price ye).
Dicipline, perseverance and determination - without all these you are not going anywhere. Enough said
Drink a lot of water. - My boss once told me that her officer complained he sufered a constipation during consuming HERBALIFE.. I immediately asked my HL coach would it possible to happen because as far as i know, HERBALIFE shake drink ada banyak fiber. takkan lah boleh sembelit. tapi analogynya senang sahaja. you take HERBALIFE to replace your daily meal. kandungan khasiat yang terkandung such as kalori and protien dan lain-lain sama sahaja dengan makanan yang kita ambil cuma it's a lot healthier sebab ianya seimbang. jadi cuba kita fikir kalau kita makan nasi tapi tak minum air? sembelit tak? same goes to HERBALIFE la. tapi kesan macam ni bukan pada semua orang sebab i never faced such problem sama ada minum air banyak atau sikit. cuma i notice kalau tak minum herbalife i have trouble nak buang air besar, but with herbalife my everyday business runs smoothly... hehehe...
Always consult your HERBALIFE coach - on anything you are not sure with. From mixing the shake to preparing the tea mix, the dos and don'ts and your meal plan. A lot of us do not know that we don't actually need to consume HERBALIFE like the one we started. forever or for life. There is s a maintenance program for users which is a lot cheaper compared to the first time we use it. Even if the first time plan is expensive, go back to tips no. 4 which is to have a peek at your pocket before you set your goal. It's good to have a coach who is very helpful and willing to answer to all your question on your uncertainty even at wee hour.
Get support from your spouse or family or anyone you live with - Mind you, getting slim and healthy is not a one man business. You need to get support from anyone around you and this would go back to tips no. 5 which is to be discipline and persevered in achieving your target. Some of us may experience people laughing or making a fun of our effort to eat healthily but take those jokes or sindiran sebagai bantu loncatan or motivational factor to prove them wrong
Be creative - Do you know you can make your HERBALIFE shake as variety and delicious as bubble tea drink? Go on and google for HERBALIFE shake recipes and you’ll find lots and lots recipes that might suit your taste buds
Exercise a lot - Please take at least 15 minutes to 30 minutes to do light exercise at home to speed up your weight loss as our body has already have the right nutrient that helps to burn calories and fat in our body. in my case, i just breastfeed my son frequently as i believe it helps to speed up my calorie burnt. Breastfeeding basically can burn up to 200 to 500 calories a day, depending on how frequent we breastfeed our baby. So when some people said why do i get slim faster after drinking HERBALIFE (whereas they didn't get the same effect), i proudly said i breastfeed as i haven't been doing any exercise light or heavy for quite a loooooong time.
