.what do you call yourself if you work at office as an officer?.

This happened last Friday while I was playing and snuggling my two boys after I came back from work I heard idris called his youngest aunt cikgu as in “ Cikgu abang nak…”

Me and mother in law (who was around too) frowned and giggled because we felt funny we such a name call.

Me : Eh abang ni, ashu doktor la bukan cikgu.

Mama : Nenek yang cikgunya. Ashu doktor.

Idris : Nenek cikgu, ashu doktor... mommy apa?

Idris : Mommy, mommy...mommy apa?

Me : *still in thinking mode of what to call myself*

What am i?

Officer?

Assitant Secretary? (faham ke dia)

Keje gomen (kang tanya apa itu gomen pulak)

Housewife (itu menipu)

Mommy is mommy………………………

And seriously, what do people call my profession if I’m neither a cikgu nor doctor nor accountant nor architect?

Me : Entahlah abang nak panggil apa tapi mommy kerja opis. Opis yang abang pergi hari-hari masa pergi school tu…

Idris : Oooooooooooooooooh...

I knew he doesn’t understand what an officer is but that evening really put me in a long pondering mode, trying to create a suitable and catchy word for the job I do every weekday that support our family shopping need.

Any suggestion?
